Artifact 3: Current Internship Experience
Artifact 3: Current Internship Experience
The artifact I selected is a presentation slide I created during a collaboration with the Southeast Arizona Health Education Center (SEAHEC). This project was part of my public health internship, where we worked directly with a community organization to highlight the programs they offer and the impact they have on local health initiatives. The slide introduces SEAHEC and summarizes its mission to expand healthcare access, workforce development, and community education. Through this experience, I learned how important partnerships are in public health and how organizations like SEAHEC support underserved populations in meaningful ways. Working on this collaboration strengthened my communication skills, especially in presenting organizational responsibilities clearly and professionally. Since this was a group project, my specific contributions included designing the introductory slide, organizing key program information, and helping align our presentation with SEAHEC’s mission. Overall, this artifact reflects my growing experience in community engagement and my commitment to health equity.
